Unregulated export of raw materials
Study export quotas that reserve part of grain production for domestic processors
Not started
Medium priority
Status confirmed 1 January 2026Agreed, but implementation has not begun.
Where this stands
A study, not a decision: the Forum asked MTIC and MAAIF to examine the proposal.
Why this reform was agreed
The feed and food processing industries cannot secure the volume of raw grain they need while export is unrestricted. A quota arrangement has been proposed as a way to allow the domestic industry to thrive while still permitting export of the balance.
