Ongoing and planned interventions
The MoFPED Strategic Plan (FY 2025/26–2029/30) focuses on improving monitoring, evaluation and coordination. The 2nd Budget Call Circular FY 2026/27 highlights stronger accountability for public funds and programme implementation. The DPI Programme under NDP IV mandates creation of an apex oversight platform, led by the Presidency and OPM, to ensure sustained follow-up and hold Programme Leaders accountable for delays or stalled projects.
