Enterprise Uganda is designated the Centre of Excellence for Business Development Services under the National Business Development Services Framework, aligned to NDP IV. Because these services are publicly subsidised, qualifying enterprises receive them at little or no cost.
What it offers
- Business & Enterprise Start-up Tool (BEST) — structured support for enterprises at start-up stage.
- Agri-business entrepreneurship training — enterprise skills for farming and agro-processing businesses.
- Growth-Oriented Tool (Go-Tool) — for enterprises ready to scale beyond survival trading.
- Entrepreneurship Training Workshops — open training in enterprise management.
Its coordinating role
Enterprise Uganda also coordinates business development services across publicly funded programmes, including the Parish Development Model and Emyooga, so that enterprises reached by those funds are not left without the advisory support that makes the money work.
Who can benefit
Micro, small and medium enterprises across agriculture, manufacturing, trade and services. Priority goes to enterprises with growth and job-creation potential.
